Dr. Lorenzo Vanini

Dr. Prof. Lorenzo Vanini graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pavia in 1980, and has spent the last thirty years working as a specialist in aesthetic dentistry, with a paricular interest in the conservative restoration of the anterior teeth and in research related to the composite dental materials. He conceived a new method for the determination of colour in dentistry and a particular technique of anatomical stratification of the composite materials, widely appreciated in the international field today and adopted as a teaching method by numerous Universities in Europe and the United States. At

the same time, he has worked, in collaboration with German firms, in the research of innovative dental materials.

He is an active member of several societies. He is the author of numerous publications and of the book Conservative Restoration of Anterior Teeth with Francesco Mangani and Olga Klimovskaia.

He practices privately in Chiasso, Switzerland
